Keep PTC Beautiful is committed to ensuring that Peachtree City residents have ample recycling opportunities by maintaining facilities and providing services in partnership with the city.
Facilitites
KPTCB staff and volunteers provide support at the city’s two recycling facilities. These recycling locations are for Peachtree City residents and are provided at no fee (no contractors or commercial trucks). Any items not accepted at these facilities should be disposed of through your local trash hauler or can be taken to the Fayetteville County Landfill and Transfer Station (link).
McIntosh Trail Recycling Facility – 209 McIntosh Trail (link to Google Maps)
Cardboard – Corrugated cardboard only; residents must break down all boxes
Newspapers & Magazines – Mixed
Glass* – Clear and colored
Books – Donations can be placed in the designated receptacles
Hours of Operation – 24 Hours a Day
KPTCB staff and volunteers are typically available to provide assistance during KPTCB hours.
Rockaway Road Compost Facility – 100 Rockaway Road (link to Google Maps)
E – Waste* – Computer towers, laptops, modems, CD drives, cell phones, cordless phones, pagers, RC devices, mouses, PDAs, routers, servers, digital cameras, fax machines, projectors, typewriters, stereos, record players, camcorders, VCR
Yard Trimmings* – Natural yard waste ONLY (tree limbs, branches, logs under 4’ long and under 12” diameter, grass clippings, dried leaves, mulch, pine straw, shrubbery & trimmings). Please empty bagged items. No lumber or furniture.

Saturdays 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
KPTCB staff and volunteers are typically available during all Rockaway facility hours.
* Items NOT ACCEPTED include CRT TVs or monitors, microwaves, refrigerators, light bulbs (any type), styrofoam (sheets or packing peanuts), bubble wrap, shrink wrap, automotive waste (oil, batteries, tires), plate or window glass, ceramic containers or plates, mirrors, china, aluminum foil, paints or stains, wax coated paper, wax coated containers, construction paper, laminated paper, lumber (any type), or furniture.
